Originally written on ukulele while staying on the island of Giudecca in the summer of 2011, we have been working on a more layered recording since then. There is a special train ticket in Italy called "Sabato Italiano" (Italian Saturday) and as we moved through Italy we noticed every time we were due to move onto a new place it happened to be a Saturday.
We came close to running out of time and money during that period so the song kind of deals with being comfortable while living with uncertainty.

The line "The mask comes off, Music turns on" came from a Venetian mask that was hanging on the wall of the apartment we stayed in Salzburg. We were unsure of our next move and one day took the mask off to look at it and saw 'Made in Venice' written inside and so Venice became our next destination.

We intended to finish the recorded version first but ended up playing this guitar version spontaneously in a 'rooftop' recording in May 2012. The applause at the end is from someone we never seen down below in the courtyard.
