Karl-Marx-Allee (akusztikus élő - Budapest, Magyarország) - SoulJahm

Free download - http://soundcloud.com/davidwilliam/souljahm-karl-marx-allee

A song born out of the boulevard in Berlin, not the man Karl Marx himself. We walked up and down Karl-Marx-Allee many times throughout the winter of 2010/11 in the snow and "freezing cold". At that time we had no laptop or instruments and when we weren't staring at four walls in our "bunker" we had to make the long trek for internet access.

Watch the original ukulele & melodica version here - http://youtu.be/xDWL07vZwxU

The song was originally written in Budapest a few months later on ukulele and featured melodica so this is it's first outing on guitar with harmonies.

When you walk alone but you're not alone
When you say the word but you seldom talk

Karl-Marx-Allee brings you to me

When you open doors in the freezing cold
Such a long way home still we take the road

Karl-Marx-Allee brings you to me
Karl-Marx-Allee feel so happy

They're shooting rockets to the sky
From my bunker I ask why
To awaken into your own life when you're playing dead

See the tower up ahead and I feel like I'm ready
So I look to the window and I'm sure I am sure

Karl-Marx-Allee brings you to me
Karl-Marx-Allee feel so happy
Karl-Marx-Allee feel so happy
Karl-Marx-Allee always with me

When you walk alone
Alone
Alone
When you walk alone....
